the mountain goats: heretic pride

The newest album from The Mountain Goats, released in 18 February 2008.
To be honest I’m not a true fan of band, I listen some of their songs, some I feel lame, some I likey likey.
I’m like anybody who has surmounted that hurdle who is delighted to discover that the album represents business as usual: continuously rewarding, new images, new storylines, and new moments of disbelief on every listen. I enjoy this album a lot. It gives me one kind of boost that I rarely got from most of other band, positivity and assertivity.
My personal fave is Autoclave, Sep 15 1983, Tianchi Lake and In The Craters On The Moon.

flawlessly performed
last night.

dancing.
screaming.
singing in heavenly melodic.
possessing.
telling us stories.
staring.
smiling and saying “tenctju verri mucch”
skipping and jumping between dimensions.

it was out-of-this-earth.
i really thought i was in someplace else,
not in this world.

that 43-year-old craziness is irreplaceable.
